"Whistling" above 50mph!

Anyone ever experienced whistling noise from the ventilation system...? At first I thought my windows weren't shut properly!

Symptoms are as follows...

Whistling from under dash (passenger side I think..)
When I switch to recirculated air it disappears, switch it back to fresh air... whistle!!
Aircon on/off has no effect.
Air vents open/closed has no effect.

Only started recently...but annoying. (Normally just crank the stereo up a bit )

I get this sometimes, even at lower speeds. I don't know if it is a fault or a 'characteristic' though.

Here! I get a whistle above 50 and thought it was my front pillar trim not being on right! I think a quick balst tonight with the recirc on is in order. :)

I've had this on a previous car when the ventilation was set to the adustable air vents - round ones in dash. but if I switched to screen or feet direction it went away.

I've experienced the same problem but thought it was the windows not being closed fully - even though they were...! lol
