    Hi all

The nuts that come along with the standard 17" wheels, how secure are they?

Id is advisable to get something else?

    Cheers

    Gary

They are only as secure as how tight you put them on, installed correctly they are perfect, plus, they are actually bolts

    Hi all

Hmmm....maybe worded a little wrongly on my part.

I mean how safe are the standard locking ones for nicking?
Ok to leave as is or get something else?

    Cheers

I've got two sets, but have not got round to fitting the 2nd yet. Can someone tell me - do i need to jack up the car to change the nuts, or can I just do it on the ground?

I think I am going to have to lift her in case of thread damage?

    Cheers Bonnie!

gary, you can get them but I think you have to get them from elsewhere, I know a few people who had issues getting dark locking nuts.
