Help!!!!

    Removed my bonnet stripes from my bonnet today was getting bored wanting a change. However the adhesive up the sides of the stripes have left lines up the bonnet. Anyone suggest a easy way to remove them tried rubbing compound tcut but no joy

    Try some tar and glue remover to see if it is adhesive that is still there.

    If not then it may need machine polished.

    if it's just glue then as Ian says some Tar and Glue Remover will do the trick... (or just some AG Intensive Tar Remover - I am sure your shop sells it )

    I used label/adhesive remover( similar to White spirit) worked a treat. Washed of the residue straight away, then polished.
