Just take it as it is….a competition, the film is still the classic it is……….The reason I got my Mini onus on this Film………blooming expensive Film…………

We all know they got away with the Gold……………a passing Range Rover helped them out and the driver was thanked three months later by a lovely hand crafted gold Watch……….with a Note…..

Anyway my uncle was the sound manager for the Film, he has the other ending in a box in the loft

TBH, speaking as an industrial chemist - have the RSC not got more to do than wonder about the plausability of the ending suggested by Caine?

Best left as the classic that it is.

It’s a bit like these grants you get for universities when they have been awarded £250K to find out if beer drinking ducks get Drunk or do Red squirrels prefer real Ale to beer………..
