I thought I'd ask on here as I know there's a few who are proper audiophiles. I've just had a upgrade to the Clubman's stereo buy a local company. I've have the following installed: -

Rainbow SAX 6.5" component front speakers, and a boxed JL 10" which are driven by a Focal 400W 3/4 channel amp which has been mounted in the wheel well. The system is amazing I can hear bits in song that I never knew where there . However certain songs at certain volumes cause the door panels to vibrate a bit, I've been told that fitting dynamat will help.

Has anyone had any success in reducing vibration using it and does it go on the door trim or the door itself?

I've used dynamat also used brown bread got to say we preferred the brown bread and it's cheaper I think but maybe not so easy to get.

While there is no doubt it helped 95%, 5% of the problem still remained.
