I'm looking for advice and tips if possible...

i'm wanting to replace my factory-fitted headunit with a Pioneer AVIC-X1 DVD/Nav unit. Firstly, does anyone know anything about this unit from personal experience? Secondly, is there anyting i have to do/get so i can fit this headunit myself, and how? Would it be better/easier to get Mr BMW Mechanic at my local dealer to fit?

Marc - email mikeythemini at www.newministuff.co.uk and he'll tell you all you need to know and supply you the right kit to connect yourself - looks like a good bit of kit though :)
