Windows????

Not sure if i'm doing something blatantly obvious but having probs with my electric windows.

Thought they were going down an inch or two after i've locked it, becuase been returning to car to find they're down slight.

This is quite worrying as obviously don't want some torag stealing my baby.:(

Anyway noticed last two days it happens when I unlock the car as well.


So totally scratching my head, any ideas?????

I had a similar problem last year but often my windows were going all the way down and central locking was unlocking itself.
It could be what's commonly become known as 'Christine syndrome' (car has a mind of it's own). Loads of info on MINI2 on this.
The trouble (in my case) was traced to a faulty 'module' on the onboard computer. Dampness gets in and plays havoc with the electronics. All fixed very quickly (it's a known problem) and under warranty.

Either that or it's just a spot of re-programming that's needed.

Either way, you'd be best to get your car into the dealer and have them check it out for you.
