Has anyone bought or had an experience with products like these - Wheel Nut Covers

They look good but I can see two problems arising:

    1. They'll probably get nicked.

    2. I would have to replace a locking nut with a standard nut so that I could fit them to all wheel nuts.

My problem is the standard BMW wheels nuts (in black) just rust and as a result look rubbish I could spray them black, but every time and remove the wheels, the paint will just get chipped off by using the wrench.

    Opinions/ideas??

Smitty, I'd give those a side step....

    1. They will get nicked.

    2. Removal of your locking nut will no doubt cause you to lose any insurance claim if your alloys are stolen. I've no proof of this, but some insurance companies will look for any reason not to pay out. Also, you do have a responsibility to minimise your risk.

Is there not a nice set of stainless steel nuts on the market somewhere?
