    Ive got the same problem.
Not sure, but when i put on a Pipercross for a shot, a few weeks back, it seemed to run OK, and the noise was great,......but going back to the standard airbox, the car definatley feels quicker again.

any help about here for this problem?,.....i too thought that maybe the mixture had gone lean, but i dont know.

Thanks Tony, I thought I was going mental!!!!
Maybe a "Superchip" rolling set-up would fix this, but to be honest, I don't know if it's really worth the outlay. My Cooper's running great back on the OE filter. Get a Magnex and then leave it alone.

Still got my old Hendrix Badge blu-tacked to the dash!
