Insurance is group 16 on the cupra compared to group 8 on the cooper.
I got fully comp through elephant for £579 with protected no claims based on m/30yrs old, 5 yrs no claims, car kept on the street and an sp30
ohh aye thats with a £150 excess and £50 for glass claims
Thought it was pretty damm good as I was paying about £500 for the cooper as they charged me extra for the air filter etc.
