Does anyone have any advice / thoughts on:

    1. The "stubby" Alta Aerials, any better or worse than standard one? Or is it a purely cosmetic thing?

    2. The performance of the ITG panel filter for the R56 Cooper? If fitted does this affect your MINI warranty and TLC etc. etc.

    Cheers
    Andrew

1.I have a short aerial fitted and find no difference in reception....its not an Alta mind you:o
2.I haven't heard of anyone having any warrantyTLC issues after having an aftermarket panel filter added but if your engine has just blown up most dealers will try and use any excuse to make you pay:mad:

Just keep the paper filter in the boot to swap it over if there's a problem

I think the stubby alta aerials are about £25 , but it would give my car a different look as the R56 aerial is HUGE!!!

My Civic doesn't have an ariel, some bugger must have nicked it.

I've got the Alta stubby ariel - no change in FM signal but MW is slightly weaker
