Replacing the OE Head Unit?

    Right I have the completley bog standard cassette type head unit and I want to replace it with a nice Sony one can anyone tell me the exact bits I need as I know there are 2 different types of connector and an ariel adapdor and I know the facia I need its just the different connectors I need sortign out? :)

    Oh and I have seen the guide on how to do it on MIni2 :)

    I was the same D00b, replaced the standard tape deck with a nice SONY MD unit. Afraid I can't help you regards the connections though as I got a local installer to put it in for me :I

    John would probably be your best bet :)

    Congrats on the new Cooper Brian Look forward to seeing you both sometime soon.
    Occasional MINI driver....... but mostly Uma Thurman ;0)
