Hi Folks,
Looking into getting a Sat nav system but I have no clue what to do....It ryhmed!
I have seen some discussion on here awhile back and wondered what was the best option.

SO FAR, SO GOOD, SO WHAT ??
Before you get the obvious "get a map" advice, best fo to Halfords to see the range and get them to explain them all, then leave and buy online
I would advise Tom Tom, the best you can afford, unless, you want an aftermarket type, motorised head unit etc.
I have used Tom Tom systems for years personally and at work and have NO complaints. :) :)
All depends on what you want with it... Handsfree calling etc or just the Sat Nav.
some options HERE
I use the snooper indego and really like it.
you can borrow it for a trial if you want.
I recently bought the tomtom rider, exclusive for the bike, but, you can adapt it for the car, might be worth a looky :)
Has full bluetooth to pair with a headset and the phone and works cause i tried it :)
TomTom no question. Simply brilliant
Garmin 700 range (I don't sell them so no bias) but very very good
i have a n73 phone with a bluetooth gps reciver and tom tom softwhere for the phone it is top no need to remeber to pick it up or leaving it behind as it is your phone i know there are a few phones about that can do this some have intrnal gps in them might be worth a look
