I'm looking to buy the chrome bumper inserts that CoolNew Ltd sell. Does anyone know if they just stick on or are they the proper 'full-fitted' chrome bumpers?

The Bumper Inserts that they are selling seem to be just the BMW Parts from the description.

The Inserts are designed to be clipped into slots in the bumper, and an adhesive put between the inside of the shell, and the small "bumps"

Your car wont have the slots cut in the bumper, however, it is possible to remove the tabs carefully with a dremmel type instrument, and just use a strong adhesive to bond the shells in place.

Perhaps you should ask Cool New if they remove the tabs, and supply and adhesive, as if they dont, it may be cheaper to order them
These were the part numbers and prices when i did this to my One
    51.11.6.800.142 Frt Bumper N/s Chrom £12.43
    51.11.6.800.143 Frt Bumper O/s Chrom £12.43
    51.12.6.800.217 Mini R Bumper Chrom £25.32
    Prices don't include 17.5% V.A.T.

Often these real MINI parts are sold on at a profit by some companies so best to always check the prices from the dealers as well.
