    Hi all, hows it goin?

I'm a n00b to the forums and to owning a Mini. My name is Ian, age 24, stay in Glasgow.
Bought by black 04 Cooper from Eastern Mini in Edinburgh bout 3 weeks ago now. Didn't get off to the best of starts - it broke as soon as I got it - put a bit of a dampner on it. But was well impressed with the BMW assistance in getting it fixed. Just got crown spoke alloys put on it today - looks a million times better now than the wee 15's that was on. Thinkin of doing a few other things to it, spoiler, white roof & mirrors, maybe cd player change. But really starting to enjoy being an owner and part of the club haha. Does the novelty wear off after a while??

Thanks for the welcome guys, good to know that you are all still mini nutters even after a few years of being owners! I will check out the runs / meets section, tis always good to meet fellow enthusiasts. I will get some pics up too, just as soon as my bluetooth stops playing up and I'm defo gonna follow the advice in the care section about polishing up, washing, waxing as I've never bothered to find out much about that before. Cheers!

    Welcome to the site Dude!!!

Does the novelty wear off? You gotta be kidding me right? After owning 4 MINI's, and with two of them on our drive, Lenore and I firstly argue about which MINI to take, then argue about who gets to drive.

If you're mental about MINI's you've found the right place!

I'm on my 1st mini (adopted July 07) and I already can't even think that I would ever now want anything else. It's just too much fun to drive and makes me smile like a loonie !

The guys are right - get along to a run and really start loving your mota.

    BIG WAVE to ya!
