I'm looking into buying two classic Minis. Just wanted to get some opinions on the best places to find them for sale. Also does anyone have a site or know of a book that'll list every model of classic made and what differences they have over others?

    Cheers

There's always some nice ones on eBay, but, there are many dealers, P&L Mini for one always have minted versions, but, at a cost, really depends on your budget :)

A Site run by one of our own (perhaps former?) members..
    Lots of good info here:

    http://www.roblightbody.com/mini/index.htm

Or you can ask about at http://www.miniclan.com/

And also... http://forum.scottishmini.co.uk/index.php have a look and ask about in here, they're a friendly bunch, someof our members even intermingle!
(er... not till I read that back to meself did I realize how homo-erotic that sounds.. bugger <snigger>.)

The book "Complete Classic Mini 1959 - 2000" by Chris Rees is a great source of information on all the different models and special editions.
Good luck with your search :)

Thanks for the suggestions so far.

Duncan, I'll have to look into picking up the book you mentioned. Sounds a lot like what I'm after. Thank you.
