Carbon fibre 'scoop'

    Just fitted a carbon fibre scoop to Chunk. It's an easy mod for anyone that's considering doing it. Original scoop comes off via four nut and bolt fixings under the hood, you don't even need to tamper with the sound insulation material <phew!>.

    I've seen pretty big differences in prices for the c/f scoops though. I got mine through Playmini for £139 but I've seen companies looking to charge as much as £250 for the same part.

    The picture ain't mine but it looks a wee bitty like this.
    Occasional MINI driver....... but mostly Uma Thurman ;0)

    Well Willie yours looks alot better than this red one - bet it has had more than 400 ish miles through it though!!

    Goldmember springs to mind. hehe. Carbon fibre is sweets. Looks even nicer on a dark shade like your car Willie :)

    Mini Speed do the carbon 1 for £120, looks neat Willie, I might hang off for a chrome 1 though.
