Woo Hoo..... Well finally made it to this trip to the mothership and still boring the pants of people who ask the question 'How was your wkend?'.... think my work mates know all about how a mini is put together and how gracefully the robots dance while making these superb wee cars

Thanks to Craig for organising such a great run altho i had a near miss with a stupid people carrier who obviously does not know how to drive on wet roads!!!!!!!

Only complaint I have is that no-one hung around at the toll to hear how great my wee Rascal sounded  as i was the last thru the toll and had to throw my money in the coin collector (throw in hope!) as the silly wee man walked off instead of helping a short @rse like myself place the money in.
She sounded so good incidently that i wet my pants and grinned from ear to ear

Good to see 'old' faces and new ones and will try my best not to hide so much this year from the runs if I can free up the time.

Thankyou Ewan and Ali for escorting myself and Michelle as far as Huddersfield seeing as we managed to just miss the convoy home! How this happened i'm not quite sure but all arrived safe and sound.

I now have an infection in my right eye which i think is due to lack of sleep since i only got 2.5hrs on thurs night/ fri morn before getting up at 4am and leaving at 5.30am with D2, Claire and Michelle......

All so worth while tho and would do it all again tommorrow if asked

Hiya all - safe to say we had an absolute blast! Loved seeing all the MINI's being born; completely amazing how they all come together really!

BIG THANKS to Craig for organising us lot and getting us "special" people in the paint shop (and off course Urlikakakak!), Mum & Dad for the quiz, that stopped Jacqui singing for a bit but also highlighted that we know nothing! Thanks to everyone for making it such a fun trip - roll on the next one!

You'll all be glad to here that Newcastle is still there; man that place is wild. Funniest sight of the night had to be a bloke dressed as Amy Boozehound, very convincing he was too - heels, wig and all.

Just packed my little sis off back to Aberdeen. Sheliz mind if you see a little blue classic waving at you frantically .... run!

Just about to download my pics so I'll post up in a bit.

Just before we left, the news I got was that you guys were actually going up the road with D2, then I saw you in the car park and thought you were indeed tagging on the end of our convoy as we were leaving, then you weren't there! Really sorry for b*ggering off without you, when I promised I wouldn't, wires crossed in the last few minutes in Oxford I'm afraid.... I now feel even more unreliable than usual! Glad you got home OK anyway.

Just want to thank Craig and Andy for an awesome run!!!

Both me and Dundonian had a brilliant time - still trying to recover after the weekend in Bradford/Huddersfield. Didn't realise that Burple/Zimbo were heading that way too!!! (maybe next time we'll convoy!!!)

Loved the factory and can't wait for MINI United 2009 we'll be there with Bells on!!!

Disappointed we were the only ones with kilts on, but it was a blast - especially with the funny looks I got!!!!

Hope to see you all on a run in the future!!

    tara for now
