Hi there , does anyone know what alarm battery keyfob I need for my Mini?

It's a 52 plate Cooper S. With the original mini keyfob. I think it was this one,

Which is a 2032 but I cant remember and I dont have the keyfob with me to work.

    Any help much appreciated.

    :)

Yes its a 2032, and contrary to popular belief it doesnt charge in the car, well not on the standard mini key fob anyway

I was told by the dealer when bought my brother car (facelifed one (not R56)) that the key in my car (pre facelift) would charge in the ignition but my brothers wouldnt and would need replaced.

I was also told the same by the dealer when buying my 05 cooper, suggested i swapped them every 6months to keep them charged enough.

The CR2032 is a commonly used lithium battery. You should be able to get it in most electrical type shops. Dont get it from the dealer you'll pay over the odds. The cheapest place I have found is Maplin, its where I get all my batteries from.

    There's a store in Aberdeen
