The drivers window on my R56 has started creaking/squeaking going over bumps when closed since the warm weather started. I tried giving it a good clean which stopped it for a day or two but it has come back.

I think it is the window rubbing against the rubber as if I crack the window by a few mm it stops completely.

I searched on MINI2 and it seems it happened on the R50 too. One person recommended this stuff which was supplied by his dealer:

    Gummi-Pfledge part number is: B82.14.9.407.015

Could you parts people advise if this is the recomended product? If not, what would you advise?

    Thanks Norm.

Is this the right stuff for lubing rubber (ooer!!!) to stop the creaking?

If it is, I'll drop by in the next few days to pick it up. Is it in stock?

Am I allow to post here? Since I'm not a dealer!!!

Ken, Gummi-Pfledge or equivalent is the stuff you need. I used it on my other car for the same (rubber) problem!
