xenon lights

hi i have just bought xenons for my mini cooper from ebay and was wondering if they swap straight over with my halogen ones they came with bulbs and starters is there anything else i would need also will the adjustment work

Is the wiring to the lights a heavier gauge?
ISTR reading that before.

Also, do you not need the washers for the lights?

i am not sure about the wiring i was told you need the washers to pass an mot but i was goin to keep my old lights for the mot

Its up to you if you want to just fit them, and not be road legal.

seems a lot of hassle with the jets mite just put them on without washers has anyone else done this?

If you do put them on, I suggest you get them checked to make sure they are correctly aimed and that the auto-levelling is working.

minimadtez has facelift xenons on her mini straight fit no hassles BUT on some of the newer minis they do not work and start to flash.

There is a way round it but its a hassle.
