Decided to give my old mini a good going over today.
I had clayed it the last time and polished it up and it had only been out a couple times but seeing as how its going to be stored in the garage for 2 or 3 months I decided to get it looking top notch.
Gave it a polish with auto glym super resin then 1 coat of carnuba wax and one coat of auto glym extra gloss protection. Had the wheels off and polished them up with auto glym as well and cleaned all the under side and under the arches when it was jacked up.

Any way when I was doing the roof I noticed a dent. Im pretty sure it wasnt there the last time I looked at the car. I have taken some pics of the car although the pics are not very good because the light was poor in the garage but I have drawn an arrow to the dent area.

Does any one know where abouts in the Edinburgh/Lothian/Borders area that I could get this pushed out. That is if its possible to push the dents out of the roof of the classics. I wouldnt think they would have strengthening bars in the roof like the new mini does.

However the car is looking very nice now that its got a good wax on it. Was going to give it a wee run round the block so that it could stretch its legs but the battery is flat so I will need to put it on the charge. Havnt used the car for a couple of months.

Ian, try these guys.... Dent Central 01316205407 or 07855799641. They've taken a few dents out of our Mini over the past couple of years. They do a fantastic job.
