I notice a small bubble in my paintwork today, took the car down to the local dealer to get them to have a look.

They said it was covered by the paintwork warranty and to book it in for repair. I asked how good the colour match would be, and was told it SHOULD be ok.

I said this wasn't good enough as I'm not prepared to have a two tone car. They said they can't guarantee the work as they send it to a thrird party body shop.

I can't find a number for Mini Customers Service, as SHOULD is not good enough.

    Can anyone help??

    Thanks Mr N..

Dial 0870 50 50 160 which should get you to customer services (from memory) :I

you could also try a dealer that has a bodyshop in-house that would GUARANTEE the colour match.

Spoke to the 'other' branch of my local dealer, and they assure me that they can guarantee a colour match so I'm taking in there tomorrow on way to B'pool. Kinda surprised since I was told by the 1st branch that they use the same bodyshop. Anyone had any experiences good or bad of dealer body shops, last thing I want is two tone Hyper blue. Will they re Supaguard the newly painted part of the bodywork? Must remember to ask that in the morning.

Got my car back today after its bit of cosmetic surgery.

Have to say the paint job, is superb.

I was a bit nervous about getting it done but the colour match is spot on, when viewed in daylight and artificial light.

    Many thanks HF Giffnock's bodyshop
