I have found the challenge
-
Oooh I say...................
Looks like its been kissing bollards though...............1 carefull lady owner?
What did you pay for it...if you dont mind me asking. Is it a runner/non runner, miles, tax & MOT'd? PM me if you dont wish to openly post, would be of interest to know what one in need of attention goes for. We've still not made up our mind's what were doing with ours, its just too easy to shut the garage door & forget about it for another few months!

That looks very very similar to the condition my classic was in (well, me and mates joint project) before we stripped it down.
Just kept on finding rust and now it's just a bare shell with a missing front end!! :frown: :ragin:
Good luck Andy, i hope you have a bottomless wallet :p :thumbs up:

Hope so or they'll be doing it again next winter
-
just makes life so much easier with genuine panels, they fit alot better as they are made from the original press tool and not made using an actual panel for the template.
Mates driving to somerford mini this morning to fill the back of his 58 clubby with MPi front end, door skins, rear valance and 4 trims that cover the seams.

Very thorough job and looks good.
How come you decided to paint the engine block yellow? MPI minis have a black block with a black rocker cover.

-
-
Was excited when I saw this posted up again, coming on fantastic mate great effort.
-
Getting there.
Mine just passed MOT on Friday, scuttle won't do another season same with front panel.
Going to buy panels during the year and do the cut up end of year.......I hope
Keep up the battle
-
Mind and get your painter to paint under the new wings etc as all the metal work under the arches was the colour of the car when they left the factory.
Im getting my painter to paint the underside and back of my wings, front panel and A panels before he welds them onto the car so that they look tip top underneith.
-
Weld Thru Zinc Primer
This stuff means you can do it all yourself prior to welding
-
Yeah but they should be painted the colour of the car after priming.
-
Yeh plan to get all underside painted all panels have been zinc primed aswell dont want the treated rust returning.
