Possible 2013 Cooper SD hatch purchase what to look out for ?

I’m going to look at a 63 plate Cooper SD hatch tomorrow, are there any known faults to look out for ?

Brilliant, thanks William, am I correct in thinking these engine have a timing chain ? Are these problems to stretching at all ?

The N47N engine is chain driven and if you look online there has been a few issues with timing chains. I’ve not heard of any chain issues with any cars that I’ve came across. Think it’s more for cars with excessive miles and poor serving

Thanks William, the car is a little up in the miles at 66k, I’ll check the service history etc as well and listen for any chain rattles from cold
