I bought a nextbase 312gw and the hard wiring kit this week. Can anyone recommend an autoelectrician, reasonably priced to fit it for me locally?
Thanks

I fitted my dads it was easy as defo something you should give a try yourself
Unless you want to come to mine next weekend and I will fit it for you
I am in Armadale
I'm sure it probably is something you could do yourself if you wanted to give it a go and had all the kit. I got one fitted from halfords, and got back to the car early before the guy was finished fitting it and his phone was sitting on the dash with a YouTube video on how to do it so I don't think he had done many before haha Works fine though, so I'm sure it can't be that hard if you do your research and have everything you need
Thanks guys, I will try and give it a go myself
Bit late I know, but if you had bought at Skidz they fit as well. Fitted my last two dash cams all hard wired, plus get all my tyres there as well!
Yeah, I actually emailed them about a quote. I bought it with amazon vouchers from Christmas. Looks like a colleague from work has got someone he knows from an Arbarth forum to do it at my work today :)
Will bear Skidz in mind when i need tyres, thanks for the headsup
It's pretty easy to do, a fuse-tap helps with connecting to the fuse box.
Here's a thread on minif56 where I put some pics up :thumbs up::

is it that easy to do for a novice?
Don't wanna blow the car up! lol
I got the NextBase 101
Does your MINI have a 12v socket in the boot? I just routed the power cable along edge of roof lining all the way to the back, then plugged into socket in boot. Reasonably tucked away. Yes I'm lazy and couldn't be bothered hardwiring.
Hard wired Sam's into his cooper today, not too difficult at all :thumbs up:
