Looks amazing. Looking forward to the start of the season.
It does look brilliant, but I think it's actually last seasons Brawn painted to this seasons colours as they've not finished the new car yet.
I should add - all the teams are apparently doing that. Keeps the new design under wraps as long as possible too.
Well, apparently I was wrong, all the teams so far have launched with new designs!
So far, I'm loving the new Renault colour scheme, and wondering if Sauber will get any sponsers (a pure white car with no logos in F1?!?).
The new McLaren looks VERY hardcore, I'm hoping to see it spank the Ferrari which looks like a 3 year old design in comparison. It'll be really interesting to see just how they all do in testing this week!
So:

That tail fin on the McLaren, and the exhausts, are a work of art. I'm very intrigued by that car, it doesn't seem to have a lot of external cooling, something very trick is going on there.
Oh, and there are a load of rumours flying around about diffusers. Again. Some teams have apparently gone for a triple, but we'll have to wait till they are running to see as not one team has shown the back of the car yet.
booked to go to monaco this year for the GP, think its the only season of F1 that ive ever been bothered about
Are they gonna have the daft looking frisbee's again this year. I love being able to see the rims!
Get in! This is gonna sound totally daft, but when I was a kid, like 9 or 10, I used to love seeing the cars coming in for pit stops, taking off the old rims all manky, and going out with super shinney new ones. Think thats possibly where my clean car obsession started!
I'm hoping for some glowing brakes action in the night races ;-) Love that at Le Mans!
If anyone is interested, live timings on this dutch site - De La Rosa in the Sauber is fastest. Took Schumacher 5 laps to beat Rosbergs time. You need to refresh it to update.

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed what I noticed? ....and that is a couple of the cars appear to have something that ressembles L.E.Ds in the point of the nose cone!!! so I am assuming it must be lighting of some sort for either when its raining or for the races in Singapore or Abu-Dhabi when its dark (just so the cars in front can see that a car is behind them etc.

look at the close ups of the Merc and the Ferrari... :thumbs up:
Virgin launched today. Interesting thing about this car is that it's the first car in F1 ever to be designed entirely by computer and NO wind tunnel running.
I think it's right up there as my favourite new design - loving the needle point nose. Bet it runs like a pig though...

Yeah baby that looks awesome!! I LOVE that paint scheme. I reckon this will be like throwing the cat amongst the pigeons so to speak being all computer designed only and no wind tunnel influences... I think this car will do pretty damn good and it is just going to boil down to whether or not the drivers can bring out its full potential!! :yes nod:
Man there are so many more teams this year its hard to pick one to follow/support :argh:
My teams so far are, Virgin (seen now), Lotus (not seen yet) and Team Mercedes GP Petronas :thumbs up:(seen)
Yeah, it's a cracking looking car.
Have you seen the pace of the Sauber? I can't decide if they are just running light to get sponsors or not. If they are running full weight - it's this years Brawn :-)
No not really seen much stuff at the moment, will need to have proper deep look see things and maybe try make a prediction before the championship starts... :yes nod:
Whose it gonna be I wonder.... .... .... I wonder.........mmmmmmmm
I just don't change my spots ................................
It has to be the 'Red' Team
tell you what is clever about the mclaren - exhaust preheat the back tires as blast right onto them at low speed. keeps heat in them for a restart - clever me think:smilewinkgrin:I think thats your tean and they will be doing :moonie:to the rest of them
