Hey Col, i actually prefer the clean lines of a pure basic watch, i'll likely wear the B&M daily and leave the main Breitling in the display case, it's a bit expensive for daily wear.
I got that B&M for a steal on eBay, retail is $1,750 and i got it for $600, providing it is as described then i'll be truly happy.
I'm keeping an eye on a similar but much older B&M that's currently at $80 to use as my work watch, that'll free up the other Breitling (current work watch) to get it serviced and the strap professionally cleaned
:thumbs up: you've no idea how long i had to wait until i was lucky enough that no one else was bidding, now, just the Tag CAU1115.BA0869 to get
Nice TAG, would love one for my collection one day. Last time I added anything to it was my TISSOT in 2009 :frown:
And another watch i've been looking at for a year or so:-

I have a few replica Omegas (which are actually so good they have fooled an omega dealer AND I have dived with both watches too)
One is a Seamaster Planet Ocean Multi face, the other is the Seamaster Quantum of Solace special edition with the pistol grip face.

I also have a couple of Animal watches somewhere as well.
I'm on the lookout for a nice Tag F1 next I think, a real one this time not a copy but to be honest my Titanium Citizen is never really off my wrist these days and all the otehr watches are just on my bedside table LOL

It does a wee bit. But you can't beat a Chopard Mille Miglia for looking like a Chopard Mille Miglia.;)
I've actually been thinking of selling this recently, but I think Lenore has managed to talk me out of it.... for now.

And to top off my collection, finally i've managed to get one of these, AndyP are you looking
It's an Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean Liquid Metal Limited Edition 222.30.42.20.01.001

VERY nice Alan, I would really love to get myself an Omega, either one of these or an Aqua Terra, something that I can leave Nathan as an heirloom once I'm gone, same as the Omega I got from my mum after my dad died and he died aged 46 and he got the watch from his folks as a 21st birthday present, and I would REALLY like to do the same for Nathan once I've gone or give to him on his 21st.
Cheers Andy, yeah I have always loved G-shocks but have only recently started collecting them instead of just having a single version since there is a vast array of version out there and they are amazing watches and tough as!!
My next sights are on trying to get an Omega as mentioned above :thumbs up: fingers crossed one day.
I bow to your superior knowledge mate. Whatever movement is inside, it looks lovely from the outside.
I must admit though, these days when I'm looking at watches, I've found myself holding the watch up to my ear and closing off my other ear to stop other sounds, just so I can hear the "tick". Love that sound in an automatic watch.;)
Having tried various others, have settled on these two.....
Longines for everyday use..

and a plastic one when Longines not suitable...glows like a B****** in the dark...

Ah, welcome to the obsession club :thumbs up:
My latest extravagance... A £35 Casio. Been wearing my Tag Heuer for tennis and I'm just waiting on a fall to break it. The Casio will do the job nicely.

Great watches Casio, I have one that I wear to work everyday and it has never let me down
I need to get my new watches posted up
^^^ did you get a new box for them William ?
I'm looking at watch boxes too seeing as I added another 3 watches (2 Fossils and a Casio Edifice) to my collection over the last couple of months
Some nice carbon fibre ones on offer but they are a bit pricey....!!
I'd not bothered about watches for years until I saw Davy's Dario Franchitti TW steel watch.
It's gorgeous.
I couldn't really afford that kind of money so I bought a LE Casio G-Shock last year. The temptation was too great though and I bought two TW Steel watches in the space of a week last July.
If I get time (see what I did there) I'll post a few pics of 'em later on tonight.
...to Infinity and beyond !!!
Stilling wanting to add my most desired watch but can't justify the price, Audemars Piquet Royal Oak Offshore.
Gordy, Google steam punk watch boxes, i got one and not expensive :thumbs up:
I got a TW Steel for sale if anyone interested, 834r model
Got a watch box for Christmas, but I think I need another one
