Dunno what was up with that, cos I could hear Tobi (my mate from work) ok...
The stock microphone is absolute rubbish, the stereo pin connector into on the mic or the actual controller itself just does not sit right hence the static and it keeps breaking down.
Hopefully the little AV cable i've ordered will allow my Turtle Beach headset to be connected.
But, am getting to grips with the buttons in the wrong place, so much so i might just change the PS3 over when it ever returns :Whistle:

Had one game and with me being used to the Xbox buttons i was totally confused again trying to fire or throw grenades, so much so i'm gonna change the buttons on the PS3 to match the Xbox
Well the PSN was backup last night for 50mins before it was down again. I didn;t get on but I know someone who did.
Gismo, I do have one for the PS3 but it's wired in upstairs and it's a total pain to get into to get the cable out. Looks like I won;t need it now though. How were the games online? Any different? Lag still?

So, I checked what payment details I had logged with Sony on the PSN. I must have registered our most recent credit card with them a few weeks ago cos we've only had it a couple of months and now it looks like the number will be all over the Internet. I think a call to the cc company tomorrow and have the card number replaced would be in order.
