Well i for one hope that this has something to do with all the hackers and cheats who blight the PS Network, thus finally forcing Sony to recognise that the network is flawed and does not make for good game play online.
So, here's hoping that they have to take drastic action to fix the network once and for all :ragin:

They're speculating that the hackers may have had access to personal information. In most cases this isn't an issue but if you've bought from the PSN store then I'd keep a close eye on your credit card statement. They're also saying that it may be down for several more days.
Worst part is that I'm off today and next monday, on top of that Sarah's taken Logan down to see her parents as I have a game on. Bloody network is down!!! Typical.

I did once, but that'll be my downfall.
Even if you paid on the PS3 website it still stores your details within your account.
I still can't believe that it's still down and Sonys silence on the matter is very worrying. With any luck this re-build they're talking about will be more stable than the last with less disconnections!
