I have just bought them too and they are very light, I still play crap but at least I can hear better at how crap I am LOL

They are wired I think Andy, apparently its got a 16ft cable to connect to the USB port on the front of the PS3.

wired, they are awesome! highly recommend them! bit pricey tho

Think I'm gonna treat myself to one of these turtle beach headsets tomorrow. I like the look of it and I like the idea of all the sound being through the headset instead of the TV. That way I won't be competing with Lenore for her soaps for audio anyway.

make sure you get the PX21 and NOT the P21

PX21 is the latest model, P21 is mono, PX21 is stereo

I got it from Game online for £60

its 70 in HMW and Game.

if you type it in google you can get it from as cheap as 50, but gamegears had no stock, i got it next day from game online!

Yes they are wired but fantastic, even my crap play has improved although that could have been down to watching Gismo and getting some usefull tips too.

I have just finished a game on the carnival level and I could hear the bees arround the wheelie bins:smilewinkgrin:

They are crap and not worth the money, dont get them save your money:popcorn:

Am thinking about getting a set too. Have opted for a new TV for the bedroom at the moment, So no waiting for corrie or hollyoaks to finish ;)

What a difference that headset makes. Sound is stunning. All the explosions and bullet rounds have a lovely deep boom to them.

I'm really enjoying this new headset and like Gismo says the wife can now hear to TV.

Working tonight:sad:. And away Thursday and may be late back on Friday so I'll see if I can get special leave of absence to play on Wednesday night. Few good games last night. Dunno who that guy was but Gismo was really p!$$ed off with him and gave him a right telling off. Then I started getting abusive messages from him as he thought it was me, lol. Should be on tonight for a few.

Im off tomorrow and Friday so I will be on both those nights.

In all fairness the guy had been using a "noob tube" as Gismo was calling it and we all know how much he hates them. At least for once his comments weren't directed at me :p

How to update your PS3 using a flash drive:-

1. Create a folder on the Flash Drive called PS3 it must all be in caps.

2. Inside this folder create another folder called UPDATE again all in caps.

3. Got to http://uk.playstation.com/help-suppo...ware/download/ and scroll to the bottom, then click Agree. The system software will download.

4. Place the downloaded file (Should be a .pup file) inside the folder title UPDATE.

5. Stick the flashdrive into the PS3

6. Do the system update but select postable device. The PS3 should automatically find it on the flashdrive.
