OK.
Thats a bummer you're car is back at the dealer. Is it a MINI courtesy car? You can bring whatever you got though.

Yes, its a Cooper Clubman. I'll probably be there, just not as quickly as I would have been :ragin:
Andy sorry for the short notice but we are not going to be able to make it.
Not going to be taking the MINI any distances until I get the new steering pump fitted.
Not too keen on bringing the 130 to a MINI run as it will look a bit daft :p.
First MINI run I have missed in a long time though I think.
Well we might but the car is FILTHY at the moment. I had to go out on site with the car on Monday to the follow up meeting for the fatal on the M8 and I had to park it in the roadworks .
I wont get a chance to clean it as I am just about to hit the pub to watch the football. You guys will have to imagine it is clean.
Here is a pic of it clean.

OK I will bring it as I have yet to give it a really good drive round some twisty roads.
Well Done my son - you know it makes sense... :thumbs up::thumbs up:
oh aye and COME ON SCOTLAND!!!! :off topic:
Nice one Ian, am also away oot to watch the footie :thumbs up:
Have a god run tomorrow:hand:
will be thinking about you when at work:argh::argh:
Car all washed, Zymolled, black wowed and tucked up in bed for the morning. The Italian Job CD ready for tommorow:thumbs up: bring it on.
Not long back home after a great day and a top run despite the weathers best attempt to drown us out :D Huge huge thanks to Andy P and the organising team, superb route as always - we'll be along to the next one if you'll have us :D
Thanks again and I'll post some piccies later (if they aren't all of misty murkyness) :D
Well done to all the Pool crew for another great run. Thanks for the goodie bag.
Its not as good doing the run in the beemer though so I will really have to get my finger out and get the MINI fixed.
I was having some handling issues with the beemer today, as Im sure Neil saw when travelling behind me as the back end was stepping out all the time.
I thought I might have a flat tyre but the warning light would have come on, on the dash. Anyway on the way home going past the garage at Peebles I was going to pull in to check the pressures when the light did come on. N/S/R flat. :argh:. Put air in it. Reset the light and home with light not on. Put it to 2.6 bar but went out to check it 5 mins ago and its back to 2.25bar so I think its got a slow. Hopefully I can get it repaired tomorrow as I really dont want to have to buy a new tyre before I go on hols. I imagine a 225,40,18 run flat will be £££.
But at least it got a flat on a MINI run. That will teach it, should stick to the babybmw.net runs for that car. Stick with the mini for the newminiscotland runs. :D
Big thanks to Andy and Lenore for there hard work in organising this great run, the weather was pants but it didnt take away any of the fun. Kerr and I havnt stopped telling Les she missed a great day as we had a blast.
Looks like this is the last run for the Nicols this year but we have went out in style but hey we will see some of you over the winter months at Mini Meats:thumbs up:.
David nice exhaust, your gonna blow all your pennies on that car. Good to see some Northern mini peeps today.
Well our car is in the garage uncleaned, will wait till tomorrow to do it as I cant be bothered:frown:. See you all again for another fab day out.
Ps- big thanks to all who have organised a run this year, we have had a great time at all and thanks for taking time out of your days organising them for all our enjoyment:thumbs up:
As above! ... run great and the weather just made it more interesting! Thanks again for the goodie bag I've already terrorised my cat by playing with the car (just a big kid). ;bigwave: again to the NM peeps.
An amazingly long day for us, just in and had our tea
Great roads and scenery, weather was pretty poor, a very well organised run over teriffic roads etc.
Only dodgy moment was Andy winning a prize at the lunch stop :Whistle:
Will post the piccies tomorrow :thumbs up:
Not long back, just fed and watered. Like Alan says.. that was a loooong day! :D
Well Done the Poole collective! I'll be up for next years! Get some better weather sorted eh? ;) Although saying that, those Federals are no bad in the wet! THey helped me keep up with the big boys! lol
Adn thanks again (and to JCs) for the goodie bag! I'm away to play with my Mini! (Ha! and that's NOT a euphemism!!!:laugh:)
Good to meet the NM guys too, and finally put some names to faces... Although seeing Paul once.. never forgotten ! lol :laugh:
Hopefully get myself sorted for an adventure down to NM land in Oct!
Mad weather, great roads, manky Mini! Job well done! :thumbs up::D
Thanks to all that attended. :thumbs up:
Thanks also to the Pooles for organising a great route - you should stop the rain dances tho' for MINI runs, I know they help popcorn sales, but come on guys, sunshine is better for runs.
I had an "interesting" day with alloy wheels, lets just say my luck still hasn't changed with wheels and tyres... :argh::argh::argh: If anyone finds an Axis centre cap that fits my car in the Borders somewhere, I'll give you £25 for it. :yes nod::yes nod:
As some have already said, this was the last "run" of the year, however there may be some other events over the winter (defo go-karting in Feb :yes nod::yes nod:)
Isnt the manky thrash the last run on this years event list?
Ah. You just nipped in there before me Alan. Good minds think alike eh.
Andy cheers for the run, and thanks to JCs for the MINI, Freya thinks she should be rounding it up.
Good to see you all again, even Alan ;)
Our next run is a get together in Skipton but I'd like to have a Hadrian's Wall run soon, great if some of you could join us for that.
That would be good. The first mini run I ever went on was a Hadrians wall one. I think that was back in 2003.
well done peeps good run good fun im away on the ps3 now
What can i say but a big thanx to andy and lenore for the great organised run around the borders which was excellent even though the weather was poor.Car went very well with the new exaust even if the wallet is getting thinner. NIce to put a face to alan glad to meet you .:thumbs up:We washed the car before leaving galashiels waste of time its manky already .ps dont let your standards slip Jason get that car washed:rolleyes:;bigwave: David and Fiona

Big thanks to Andy and Lenore for a great day, really enjoyed it (except the weather), see everybody on next run cheers Derek, Joyce and Brant:thumbs up:
Andy et all, huge apologies for not showing today. I really get annoyed at people who pull out at the last minute:argh::argh:
I'm afraid I ran out of "hours in the day". I was with the pipe band all day Saturday and I'm down in Plymouth / Exeter on Mon / Tues doing presentations, which I had to prepare this afternoon. Great to hear everyone had a great time despite the weather. Mom was none too pleased at missing the day.
Will see you all soon.
sounds like it was a great run as per usual sorry once again andy for not being able to attend defo for next year:smilewinkgrin:
I know it's a load more expensive matey (£60).. but I was at the Outdoor karts at Raceland (Edinburgh) a couple of weeks back.. that seriously is the best fun you can have on a track without gettin the Mini on there!!
I'd quite happily save up to go back.. but Feb?? Brr!!;):D
Many thanks to everyone for the kind comments re todays run. It doesn't take a huge amount of organising, but it doesn't all happen on its own, so it's extremely gratifying knowing it's not all been in vane.:thumbs up:
Weather was absolute pants. Gotta say, this is the worst weather we've had on any run we've organised. But I'm pretty sure it's also the first time The Gizmo Man has been on any run we've organised. You do the math.:laugh:
Really good to see the NM contingent, and good to hear you're all home safe and well.:D Oh, and... Hadrian's Wall - count us IN!:thumbs up:
Many thanks to Milestone for their hospitality, and a special thanks to Heidi for carefully selecting our entry in the prize draw. You free cinema ticket is on its way.:blush:
Heart Of The Borders V anyone?
A.:D
hadrians wall ????
