Heart Of The Borders - Sun 27th August 2006

Many thanks to everyone who came today, especially those who came a long distance. Lenore and I are delighted so many of you were able to come, it made the day lots of fun and despite Neil having to fly off to find some "lost sheep", we all had a blast and can't wait for Heart Of The Borders 2007! :eek::D

Thanks also to Ally and Pete at Dunedin for opening up early and of course, for the goody bags. A date for your diaries folks, something free from a MINI dealer!;)

Many thanks to Mrs Weefossie (mum) for our wee bag of chocolates. Much appreciated.:D

Thanks Andy & Lenore, Neil & Lorna for a great day out! Ages since i whizzed down some of these roads. Even got to go through my own village (Stow). Also did my cred' as a 'favourite uncle' a lot of good too - lol. Looking forward to the next one !

we got home safe and sound, had a great day thanks to andy and lenore for another great day.well the borders run was our first run last year and appears to be our last (for a wee while anyway J4UDG will be on another mini one day and we will be back!!) thanks for all the good wishes next year will be the real adventure ! will pop online every once and a while to see whats going on and sure I will see some of you kicking around. many thanks to all and we'l catch up soon!

another fine run. sorry couldn't stay for drinks but time was short for us. The dogs were tapping their paws waiting on their tea when we arrived home.;)

Perhaps if sweeney had not got lost so often time might have been on our side.;)

Mind you I should have know from the start of day that he may cause a few problems when he walked in to the Ladies at the Dunedin.

How the guys motors that went fast over the water splash some grating sounds there.:eek::eek:


What was the story with the guy in the Subaru near the end of the run braking really hard and burning some rubber. Did someone try over take or something anyone know.???

Fiona, I looked for you to say goodbye to but couldn't find you, figured you had headed off early to see to the pooches. Thanks again for making the trip down, we (Lenore and I) don't forget it's a looooong way for you guys all the way from Inverness.

Didn't know about Sweeney finding his feminine side.:D But now I do know, it will not be forgotten. Mr Sweeney is going to regret that for some time to come.:p:p:p The mileage in that for ribbings..... The mind boggles.:D:D

The guy in the Subaru in Kelso was behaving like an ar@se for some reason. Don't remember the whole story, but I'm pretty sure he was just showing off in front of the MINI's.:clown::clown:
