Yeah, it's difficult getting a location which suits "all". Sorry Linz.:frown:

But, there's plenty "northern" members, so you could always organise a meet up and food. Just start a thread in MINI Meets & Social Forum. :thumbs up:

Not a problem........definately be down for the Kirkaldy meet though :-)

Yup that's a thought, when I've cleared the bomb site that's my new kitchen, will sort that!

We're actually think about Edinburgh's Hard Rock Cafe. They have a couple of set (2) course menu's for £15pp so it's not hugely expensive and there's no doubt the quality is WAY better than the likes of a Frankie & Benny's.

However, we realise there are drawbacks...

Parking is one. Although we could all park in the multi-story underneath the Vue Cinema. But then that's a bit of a trek to George Street.
Babies. HRC is probably too loud and not really suitable for newborn babies, and I wouldn't want to chose somewhere that precludes any chance of you and Rob coming along.

So, happy for thoughts on the Hard Rock Cafe idea. If that's a NO then we have other ideas.

We'd be into the free period, William as we'd be meeting up at 7 or 7.30 for a 7.30 to 8 food. But it's finding spaces for everyone. Lenore and I can drive up and down George street twice before we find ONE space, never mind 9 or 10.

Haven't parked in St Jame's for a while, but that's a good idea right enough.

I'm not fussed where we eat, but I don't want to have a pain getting parked. As you know Andy we had problems finding spaces the last time we parked on George St

Absolutely. I think it would need to be St James's multi story, if we go with HRC.

I don't mine I can always drop Christine and baby off and then park up and walk ;)
