I’m just glad I ordered tickets early with a discount code as an hour wait to pay £19pp is a bit much! We were also sensible and took lunch with us (despite having to pour away our water into a bin at the door due to “arena policy”) as apparently the queues were lengthy (circa 50 mins) and the majority of food sold out quickly. We just so happened to be downstairs having our lunch when the willy waving began and watching a sea of families leave the underground car park covering the ears of their screaming children was not pleasant, however it was during this moment of tinnitus inducing noise that I spied the car park charges (another bug bear with the venue car park being utilised by the car show, parking was abysmal, I feel sorry for anyone attending the wedding fair that was also on), anyway, parking charges hiked up from £3.50 to £10 after 3 hours so at 2 hours 50mins we left, it was plenty time anyway, we spent a good hour and a half chatting with various friends. I think it was overpriced for what it was and I doubt we’ll be back. Some nice cars though but nothing overly stand out and a few more trade stands would have been good!
