No word from HQ yet, so don't know if my copy has arrived or not
No chance i would queue up for one at midnight :hand:
Home on thursday so fingers crossed
I passed Sainsburys this monring and there was a loooong queue. Only £26 though.
I went to Asda and got it for £32 with no queue. Cant wait to play it when I get home.
3 kids were there and asked for 3 copies of COD! Pity they didn't have any id lol
Oh right hello :D, ummm yeah the game is very good and yes it is a kinda short single player, but then I think the multiplayer on this game is where it is at so to speak.
Online there seems to be a VAST amount of big maps, so should be great for our private games for a long time until campers like bob find a little nook for them to hide themselves in etc.... :D  :knife:
I played a few games with Ferengo this morning when he got home from Tesco...
My Copy still hasent arrived yet :ragin::ragin::ragin:
So, generally, what's the online game play like, anything compared to the original game, or has it gone too hi-tech?
Cool report Zimbo.
I played the first three missions last night and was impressed, but tonight when I get home I think I'll just go straight to online play and get a feel for that. Need to hunt out Rob's camping spots before he gets there.
Gismo, I only stood in that queue for 2 mins. As soon as midnight hit, they opened a wide trolley and we all picked up the game cases straight away. Then somehow I managed to get to the self checkout first. Had to knife a couple of folk though.
What I did notice though, is that the majority of folk stood waiting were what could only really be described as social misfits. Some looked like they had only got out their couch for the first time in two years to go to Tescos for the new game, only to go home and sit and play it for another two years. A few too many home delivery Pizza's and Pies etc. I know I'm no stick insect, but really, these guys were big guys! And the rest were nerds that you just know were gonna take it home, strip the game down and break the code to cheat. Then there was me, sensible, mature, upstanding member of the community, standing in the queue feeling as welcome as a fart in a space suit.
