I may be completely wrong, but I think your stats (rank, kills, etc) are all stored remotely by Infinity Ward, rather than on your PS3. So when you sign in using your usual PS3 network log in name, it should grab all your details and push them to your PS3 then.
Or am I talking complete bollocks again?

Ha Ha. That would make me 10 as she's 2 years older than me.
Will test that theory on my mates PS3 and see if my details come up. Cheers.
Your COD stats are kept online, however, if you've played the actual game the data is saved on the hard drive, but, you can easily save it to an SD card that fits in the front of the PS3 itself and move it from machine to machine.
