I have a December 2020 registered F56 LCI JCW 3 door manual. With a locked ECU. Have any other members had success using a specialist to unlock there ECU on late 2020 models.

As for the ECU - are you looking for tuning potential / additional functionality or has the ECU been damaged?
Good morning and thank you for your prompt reply. The engine control unit is not damaged it is standard. I have carried out some work to the car and wish to compliment the upgrades I have carried out with data logging and a remap.Quote:

Hi Paul and welcome to NMS. I’d speak to your preferred tuner about that they recommend but I’m sure most if not all BMW ecu’s are now locked, as you say and the only company I’m aware of being able to unlock them is FEMTO who are located in Finland
Assuming you haven't tried them already, you could try Ecotune in Glasgow.
