Am looking for the name of an ole black&white film. I vaguely remember seeing it on the TV 20+years ago...

It was like a Miss Marple with a load of murders in big a country house but it turned into a farce kinda film.

The room they were all gathered in kept moving/swapping place with an identical room...!

~ not explained the plot that well, hmmmm, it was something like this;

three people from a party left the room into the hallway the room span round and one person went in and was identical but everyone else had disappeared the other two then followed but in the mean time the room had spun round again so they joined the others and were accused of being the murderer’s as the first had never returned…his body being found in the hall...and it goes on....

IT was dead good ~ has anyone seen anything like it or was ma Mum putting gin in the milk again :D
