Great loving it. The colour is everything I hoped for and more.

Couple of things I've got the Hi-Fi upgrade:D Allan's is only standard boost.

I would really really really advise that if you like to listen to music in your car then find the extrs £££ for this upgrade it is a MUST honestly it is.

Anthracite roof lining h'mm well got to say it's well interesting anyone speccing it would you PLEASE go see a car with it fitted before you finalise your order. I'mm happy with it but it is nothing like the old anthracite lining this is well like felt with a sort of tan spec flake hairy looking stuff through it.

Not the best light but wanted to get some pics. Both cars are in the mid polish state

glad you like it Fi...:approve:

I looked at the roof lining in clare's new demo and it defo looks like the cheap carpet you used to get in cars... like they make cheap and nasty carpet tiles with....

must say I will be disappointed by that, however it is still better than the light greay joining onto the dark grey/black of the dash..:approve::approve:

I also specced the stereo... is it really good ? ?:D

No trips for any audio upgrade I do think the hi fi upgrade is more than enough for me I really impressed with it but then I've been driving a Saab for the last 2 months now that has a awful sound system.

I will be visiting to get my micro go + defusser installed.

well the hi-fi sound system is no match for the Logic 7 H/K stuff in Land Rover not even close.

I would say it is better than the previous H/K stuff in Mini.

How much is to upgrade £300??? well for that kinda money I think it sounds good.

Or put it another way the standard boost radio is crap compared to the hi-fi upgrade. Sorry to folks who have gone just for the boost.( is boost standard)/

But I dare say folks that are not really bothered about sound system will find the boost enough.

Come on Fiona - show us a photie then!!!! I promise not to make sarky comments. Hope you have a safe and enjoyable time with your new 'LEM-MIN' (Yellow - geddit?), and for Gawd's sake, try and keep it till it's RUN IN!!!!! OOPS, broken my sarky rule already.....

Seriously though, hope it's all you hoped it would be.

Is this the BMW HiFi upgrade,or a aftermarket upgrade,IMOI i think the BMW "HiFi stuff" is pants,i am a converted Alpine man myself, and it rocks!!

I cannot speak for H/K upgrade as i have not heard it,but the Boost is pants, inside and out.

you dont always get your moneys worth with hifi`s,take the Bose ipod hifi (not car) its rubbish and overpriced compared to the Apple ipod hifi, which is far better.

hope you like the new car

Donald

yes it is the MINI upgrade..

I was a big stereo junkie, but the H/K in my current MINI is great (for the money you pay and the nil hassle to get it installed...)

If the stereo upgrade is as good as the H/K in my current mini, then I am pleased I specced it..:D

yip as Craig says BMW upgrade and ok it's not the best in-car sound system going I know I've spent a good few bob in the past on ICE stuff like Focal speakers JL Amps - head units and so on blah blah blah.

What I am saying for me and my now (older) taste it is a decent sound you can here the base the mid range and it's pretty clear but yes I've heard much better but for more money and much more hassle.

It is a improvement IMO to the HK in the now older Mini and much better than the boost in the current model.

BUT

again IMO the boost is not the worst sound I have heard for a standard system - no way the worst you want to hear my Saab:(:(

Mind you now that I am entering middle age perhaps the music I listen to is just fine for the system. I dare say that rubbish stuff the youngsters listen to boom boom boom the system might be no good for it.;):p

Dont know if its the light but the yellow looks as if it has warm undertones to it compared to the current shade. The cars look very nice. The blue is also stunning :p:p:p

Nice photos Fiona, tasty in Yellow and as I said before, the Blue is VERY nice. The S looks better with those bigger pipes at the back - one improvement over the old one! (unless you have an old one with a PROPER exhaust on it). Even your Bunnets look not too bad...but keep it under yer hat! Enjoy.
