Went for a nosey to Menzies yesterday and I think we may of caught the R56 bug that seems to be going about.

Now how is everyone else specng there car as i seem to be coming out at £21,440 and thats without sat nav, I pod adaptor & Spots. So what options are the rest of you guys choosing?

Just seems a lot of ££££ for a mini, but i did like it. I could almost get a 2nd hand year old 330d for not much more.

and that's the dilemma, IF your a mini person then the total cost kinda doesn't rank as the biggest priority.. For me, it was the difference of about £40 a month to change...

Moving from a Cooper to an 'S' and to the new model was enough of a carrot.. Yes, I could have got a new 4x4 Pickup, Golf GTI, second hand Jag XJR, the list is endless, BUT, I wanted a MINI and that at the end of the day is what you have to ask yourself... :D

well put... for me itis too much money for a mini - and I would say I am a mini guy. But 20k+ just seems so much, id rather have a 2004 JCW's...But itis personnel choice and when i see a new R56 on the roads ill be saying why didnt i just buy one!
