You ok mate, is it a permanent failure? Mine had an intermittant fault for a while. You would be belting along, turn a corner and half way round it would stop working, turn the car off and back on and it would be fine.

It certainly is!!
Mine failed slowly on the white Cooper on the way back up from the Leeds festival a couple of years..

Parking was 'interesting'. The steering pump went 'pop' and leaked fluid out...

Tell me about it mate. Although I suppose it's pretty hard to notice the power steering has packed in when going straight. :)
