side skirts

I have just bought a new set of side skirts and I was planning on fitting them myself. Has anyone fitted a set of side skirts on themselves before? And if so, how do you fit them? Will I need to buy any extra parts to fit them?

Ewan (Gill's other half) fitted their aero kit (including the side skirts) himself, so he should be able to give you some advice. I think what most people say is that you should have a good few new clips as they are prone to breaking when you try to take them out.. ;)

I changed the skirts on my last mini from standard type to the S type. Like Craid said, I had to get the new clips that go on the back of the skirt. You will also need the new chrome finishing strip as this often bends when you remove it.

Thanks guys. I went into JC's this afternoon to get clips and went home and fitted the side skirts right away! I just upgraded from the standard side skirts to the cooper S side skirts. Nice wee upgrade!
