Well, my brother booked me this for my birthday. The place is in Milton Keynes, next to the indoor ski-ing place (which also looks great!). You get a 30 minute briefing on how to hold the pose, and then get into the tunnel. The wind speed is anything over 100mph! It's basically a sodding big fan under you - makes a racket! The instructor is in the tunnel with you, helping you with your position (straighten you legs, lift your chin etc) and to scare you! In the photo, he had just spun us both up to the top of the tower and back, which actually is great fun.

We spent a total of 4 minutes in the thing, and it was worth every penny! It's really easy to control and within 20 seconds of going in the first time I was flying on my own. It's an amazing feeling!!! I couldn't stop smiling! I have to say though, some of the folk in our group were pants, wouldn't relax and couldn't get in the right position and just were all over the place.

You get a certificate stating your skill level, there are 10 skills such as being able to just hold the position, can move side to side (really hard!) etc, so that if you do it again they know what to work on with you.

This is the building.

I know! Thought I wouldn't like it, but absolutely loved it - kept smiling all day! Can't wait to go back now.
