Hmm, i'm beginning to like the look of that R56, in the blue anyway ;)
I kinda like the big grilles :p i think they are made to look bigger by the way the photo's were taken :)

As for the bulbs, no way would any manufacturer make a car that needed the bumper to be removed to fit the bulbs, imagine driving late at night and you need to change a bulb

Sorry though, that red interior is hideous :blackeye::p
Apologies to those who like it ;)

Judgement still reserved until 17/11 , just can't see how it looks better than what we've got. Sure the engines might be better & the interiors have had an uplift (still think ours still look well funcky mind). The current clam shell bonnet is miles better but I suppose in the interets of safety sommits gotta give. We'll see :)

Forget the banter, let's get back to the cars :p

Blue colour looks great, not so keen on white wheels or the white roof, I prefer black or body colour - but that's just me!

Love those wheels on the silver car.

Is that Sparkling Silver? Looks good in those pics.

I HATEthose red door panels though - yeuch:dead:

I have to say though, 2.5 years after ditching a MINI, I am very tempted. Looking forward to getting a good poke around a Cooper.

Correctamundo... It's the "Universal storage compartment access acutator". The button that opens the glove box.

I agree with you Alan :D & that red interior is just awful :dead:

The front indicators can be specked up with clear(white) lenses in the headlights if you do not like the orange standard ones. Which is exactly what I would do!! :D

The glove box cannot be locked on the new model as far as i know unlike the current one.

That sparkling silver is not nice at all, Fi must be over the moon that she ditched that colour for the mellow yellow, which is the colour that i'm most looking forward to seeing along with the laser blue.

So let me take a wild stab in the dark here Fi, now your getting the Mellow Yellow and I am guessing that Allan will now be getting a Laser blue S to replace his(your) pepper white cooper? :D:p:question:

True, but... charging £50 for that as an option is totally taking the p*ss.

It will cost MINI approximately ZERO for different lights with clear bits instead of orange, in fact, they are probably cheaper :disapprove:

Aye.. that's all very well... but where do I put my nice aftermarket Stereo? Will it fit in the space for the chager in the glove compartment?
I believe the standard kit will sound alright, but I bet it won't be good *enough* ;):p
