Spec & cost

Anyone have a decent "standard" spec for an S? I added a load of stuff and it came out over 20K! (granted, this included things that I'd like but not at the price - 770 quid for bluetooth!!!) I had a decent spec on my old S and it was only about 17.5K.

So, what are the "must have" options, and what's the average spend on the new car?

How about next to no options or simply add CHILLI? OTT options are a waste of dosh, unless they are things you REALLY want.

I would Chilli it. Anthracite roof lining heated mirrors and that's about it.

that configurator it just begs for the x in the boxes when you spec in the dealers theres the time to add thats the wallet killer i got it up to £19k

Yeah, that's what I did and got scared!

I'd want one the same spec as my old one without the rims (S, chilli, tlc, MFSW, auto climate, heated jets and CD, R90s), but then I add stuff like chrome line interior, metallic, stripes, web spokes etc and it goes WAY up! And now SC has put the roof lining into the equation...

Raybans - would be cheaper than a mini ;)
