Hasn't reached our news but this is a pic of Homebase Belfast which was bombed wednesday morning ... thankfully nightshift got out in time and nobody was hurt.

Very weird in work today hearing news filter through... scary thing is the store is much similar to style of Dundee retail park and in some pics it looks like our store.


They also targetted JJB and a toy shop and B&Q last month

bombed? Who bombed it and why would they want to bomb a homebase? Someone also bombed the paypal headquarters this week. Strange targets.

Dissident republicans today stepped up their bid to derail a cross-party political deal with coordinated firebomb attacks on Belfast stores.

The early morning onslaught left a Homebase DIY outlet in the south of the city gutted and three other businesses damaged.

Up to 50 Homebase staff at Boucher Road's Shane Retail Park now need redeployed, and a multi-million pound repair bill will further damage the economy.
