JUST PICKED UP SOME CASTROL EDGE 0W-30 OIL TO DO AN OIL CHANGE ON THE COOPER,IS IT ADVISABLE TO RUN AN ENGINE FLUSH THRU THE CAR FIRST

How many miles has you're car done? look in the oil filler cap and the dipstick for any signs of foaming etc, if it's spotless then no flush is required :)

its only done 41259miles not too many

it's a personal preference thing tbh... my dads 530D has done 162k and has never had a flush...
