View Full Version : Christmas Lunch Mini Eats 2006 - 10th Dec
ianking
28th October 2006, 05:54 PM
After some help and guidance from other NMS regulars I have decided to organise a Christmas lunch this year. Venue will be the Pirnhill inn, Stirling, same venue as the last 2 mini meats. :)
http://www.brewersfayre.host.goodtechnology.net/results.jsp?establishmentID=1646&qasSearchFileType=Brewers_Fayre
This will be on Sunday the 10th Dec. Table booked for 1pm so meet at the car park for 12.30 or earlier if you wish for some pre lunch banter and to drool over the motors. :p
As the Pirnhill is very busy this time of year we have to pay a non returnable deposit of £5 per head:(. Pennies can be given to me at the Manky Thrash or at Menzies launch night. Alternatively e-mail me and I will give you my address for sending a cheque.
It has been decided that there will be a secret santa lucky dip on the day with every attendee bringing a small gift to put in the lucky dip tub. Just to make things difficult there is a price limit of £1 on this. ;)
Any person who will not see me can send me an e-mail requesting my home address to send a cheque to
iansminiadventure@hotmail.com
Confirmed so far

Ian, I'm really sorry but Lenore and I will not be able to make this.:( It's the second Sunday of Flushed Away and the first Sunday of Happy Feet, both of which we are expecting to be very busy indeed! And the weekends on the lead up to Christmas are always busy, and Tesco and ASDA will be open by then and that will make us much busier, etc., etc.
Sorry mate. Hope you have a grand time. Eat lots of turkey & cranberry sauce for me.

I must have passed you going the other way Fi....I was up in sunny Cromarty dropping some gear off...and was traveling back down to Fife from 5.40pm. In fact...I must have passed you earlier in the day..on the way up?
Funny thing was...I flashed at a MINI..and waved on the way up...and got a strange look
I forgot I wasn't in the MINI...I was in my flying Red Renault Master Van.
Cruise control set to 70...GPS Speed camera database running.
It was a wild night...but high winds only gave problems about 20 miles from Perth.
Its a long road...and I have to do it again sometime this week to go and pick my gear up again... :(
But that's business....

wisnae in the Mini's at 5.40pm we would have been north or the House of Bruar.
it's not to long a road if you break it down.
Think first stint to Bruar. Then just after the drummochter then carrbridge then your just about home.
