I know in this country that FM transmitters are illegal However a very good friend of mine was asking about 1 for his Saab.

So I was wondering if any of you guys know how good or crap they are and which is the best 1 to go for.

What's the quality of sound like and how easy are they to tune in.

I have heard that if your in a built up area with many radio stations ,eg Glasgow area,(102.5 ,103.5 96 94 92 etc)it jumps about all over the place searching as you pass each strongest signal .....

I've got a spare Griffin iTrip (since my iPod packed up) won't fit iPod video however.

I found it ok, but the sound quality is equivalent to listening to an FM radio station.

You get to choose which frequency you want it on, always found 87.5 was clear for mine.
